Explore More – Canberra Homeschooling Community

We are a small secular inclusive homeschooling meetup group for the whole family, embracing and encouraging friendships, play and connection across all primary school age ranges (approx 6 to 12 yrs), we also have younger and older siblings frequently joining us at meets!

We aim to keep our meets relaxed and casual, with most of us of unschooling, eclectic, natural learning approaches.

Building community and friendships, we gather together weekly and are looking for families committed to doing so, who are interested in helping to support this fun, exciting, collaborative experience. We usually have outdoor nature / hiking meets and alternate them with a park meet each week.

If this appeals to you and your family you are more then welcome to attend a few meets to see if the group is the right fit.

We hope you find this helpful, make new friends, enjoy new adventures and have fun.

Originally setup for Australian  Jewish Home Educators, there is a  private Facebook group, which is accessible via the Facebook page. For security and privacy concerns we ask people connect with the group that way and only request to join the group if one of the parents is Jewish. For those who are not Jewish and just want to engage in discussion and gain further knowledge, we ask that they engage with our Facebook page.
